How to get there

From Santiago to Pucon-direct(only in high season or special occasions, ask your travel agent). You will arrive at the Pucon airport where we can arrange to have a transfer waiting for you or have a rental car meet you there.
From there you will pass through the center of Pucon and continue 4 km towards the city of Villarrica. You will find Portal Pucon cabins where you see a 3 meter tall snow man on your left hand side. Welcome!!

Santiago de Chile - Maquehue Airport, Temuco -Temuco- Pucón

Daily one hour flights to Temuco, regional capital of the Araucania , located 670kms south of Santiago. Upon arriving in Temuco you can take a transfer into the city where buses leave every 15 minutes for the one and a half hour trip to Pucon (110km).

Santiago de Chile - Aeropuerto Maquehue Temuco - Pucón

You will arrive at the Manquehue Airport on the outskirts of Temuco, where we can coordinate a transfer for you or have your rental car waiting. From there take the Route 5 south until Lonchoche where you will turn right to get to the cities of Villarrica and Pucon. Once in Villarrica, cross through the center of town to get to Pucon. At Km 24 on the Villarrica Pucon road you will find Portal Pucon cabins. You will see a large snowman at the entrance to the complex. Welcome!

Take the Route 5 south, bypass Temuco and continue onto the town of Freire where you will turn right at the Villarrica-Pucon sign a few minutes after the toll booth. Once in Villarrica, go through the center of town towards Pucon. At Km 24 on the Villarrica Pucon road you will find Portal Pucon cabins. You will see a large snowman at the entrance to the complex. Santiago - Pucón

Buses from Santiago to Pucon leave daily but generally at night between 9pm and 10pm, depending on the company. Go to the Santiago Bus Terminal or in Torres Tajamar and travel during the night to arrive in Pucon between 7 and 8am. There is plenty of room for luggage.

Puerto Montt y Valdivia - Pucón

Take Route 5 north towards Pucon. 3km past Loncoche, take a right towards Villarrica/Pucon. Once in Villarrica go through the center of town towards Pucon. At Km 24 on the Villarrica Pucon road you will find Portal Pucon cabins. You will see a large snowman at the entrance to the complex. Welcome!

San Martín de los Andes (Argentina) - Pucón (Chile)

Take Route 234 towards Junin de los Andes, only 64kms from the Tromen Pass, the Chilean border. Remember to check border crossing schedules. From the border there is only one road to Pucon, 87kms away. Once in Pucon you will pass through the center and continue 4 km towards the city of Villarrica. You will find Portal Pucon cabins where you see a 3 meter tall snow man on your left hand side. Welcome!!
